Mississippi New Venture Challenge

The Mississippi Technology Alliance will present the Mississippi New Venture Challenge on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Jackson Convention Complex.

The public is invited to the New Venture Challenge where 42 innovative companies in three divisions will present their venture opportunities to a panel of judges that includes some of Mississippi’s top entrepreneurs and investors. Winners in each category will vie for cash prizes and in-kind services. Other major sponsors for the event include the Mississippi Development Authority and Phelps Dunbar, LLP.

Schedule of Events

12 – 12:30pm: Participant time to: test PowerPoint and view room set-up

12:30: Check-in/Registration for Participants and Attendees

1:00: Competition Begins with 1st Presentation in each room

2:40: Break

2:55: Presentations Resume

4:45: Competition Ends

4:45 – 6:30pm: Networking Reception and Awards Presentation

The competition is free and open to the public. Company presentations begin at 1 p.m. and conclude around 4:45 p.m. at the Jackson Convention Complex located at 105 E. Pascagoula St., Jackson, MS 39201, 601-960-2321.
