The Mississippi Technology Alliance presented it’s 3rd Annual Business Plan Competition, the Mississippi New Venture Challenge, on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Jackson Marriott.

Liberal Nut Company (Tupelo) - Liberalnutcompany.com sells high quality Mississippi peanuts that educate friends and family on the folly of liberalism - in a light hearted way.

Royal King Foods (Carthage) - The goal is to not only provide meat alternatives but also deliver natural, nutritious food options. We have carefully designed our ingredients to suit both palate and dietary well-being.

RPM Products (Meridian) – A greatly increased number type/style of toys and tools can be loaded/unloaded with our two types of ramps: the Easy Loader Hide-A Ramp, and the Easy Loader Roll-Around Ramp.

SINHATECH (Oxford)- SinhaTech offers Dolphin-Skin; a quick patented aero streamlining device for trucks capable of improving fuel economy as much as 30 percent.

Text Services, LLC (Brandon) - Sharpen your business' edge by communicating in real time via text, email and phone services.

Well Steps@Work (Ridgeland)- Well Steps@Work provides a comprehensive package of services, including biometric screenings, weight management strategies, fitness screenings, corporate challenges, and incentive programs, etc.

Access (Meridian) - Doctor Mobile is an SMS appointment reminder service that allows medical facilities to communicate with their patients more effectively.

Bio Energy, LLC (Madison) - Produces biodiesel to serve a local market at a price which is below the cost of petroleum diesel.

Clear Water Organic Farms, LLC (Utica) - Clear Water Organic Farms will use aquaculture and hydroponics to produce organic fish and organic vegetables in Utica, Mississippi.

EVMotion LLC (Starkville) - EVMotion is an innovator in electric drive technology providing practical solutions to the transportation sector for transforming fleet vehicles. 

Fighting English LLC (Starkville)- Fighting English.com is transforming English as a second language learning with interactive, integrated and targeted online instruction.

Green Power Creations (Jackson) - Green Power Creations, with the assistance of WAM software (Weatherization Assessment Management), is an energy auditing firm offering cost effective solutions to homes and small businesses wanting to decrease energy cost and increase savings.

BioSynsor Technologies (Petal) - Developing innovative wearable, telehealth devices which noninvasively detect and monitor for embolisms and Deep Vein Thrombosis.

Inovo Systems, LLC (Flowood) – Through innovative process improvement, their software manages traffic citations, ordinance violations, administration, and language interpretation.

Navagis, LLC (Jackson) - As a Google Earth Enterprise Partner, Navagis works closely with Google on continued development of Google Earth Enterprise.

PONDO Technologies (Madison) - Wireless and remote monitoring of an athlete’s weight resulting in objective data and streamlined, real-time reporting.

The Cable Pipeline (Tupelo) - The Cable Pipeline is a website providing Cable-Telecom constituents with market analysis, and trending for timely decisions about their businesses.

TreMoto, LLC (Taylor) - TreMoto’s goal is to design, assemble and market safer and better performing alternatives to conventional motorcycles.

Visual Analytic Solutions, LLC (Starkville) - Visual Analytic Solutions, LLC, is a custom software company specializing in visualization and analysis of scientific data.

Student Division

A6 Technologies (MSU) – A6 Technologies will offer a hosted, web-based software solution that will provide churches and other non-profit organizations with the necessary tools to efficiently manage the organization.

Dream Logic (Millsaps College) – A freelance software development startup, focusing on iPhone and Android applications.

e-HRinnovations.com, LLC (Ole Miss) – e-HRinnovations.com provides accurate and valid personality tests for personnel selection purposes to identify outstanding job applicants.

Fitting Room Floor (MSU) – Matching customers with clothes, which are selected by the website, based on their personal characteristics to help them find the perfect clothes.

H2OConserv (Ole Miss) – H2OConserv has created a line of automotive detail products that offer superior performance, reduce water usage and are safe for the environment.

iSubmit4You (MSU/Belhaven University) – iSubmit4You is a service that will review, submit and promote paid Apple applications at no cost to a client.

Kalpanique (Southern Miss) – Will create hospital wound dressings with inherent anti-bacterial activity for prevention of MRSA related infections.

Phone-a-Friend, LLC (Ole Miss) – Phone-a-Friend, LLC focuses on developing user friendly applications that are unique and out of the ordinary.

SEC Savings (MSU) – SEC Savings is an online coupon service providing great value through localized deals – quality discounts offered by local businesses.

The Juliet Collective (MSU) – The Juliet Collective is a custom music effects company specializing in innovative guitar pedal and amplifier design.

University Designated Drivers (Ole Miss) – Your DD drives you anywhere you need to go, in your own vehicle.

Uptown Entrees (Ole Miss) – Uptown Entrees is the one-stop box to deliver quality, convenience and consistency for your grocery needs and your home-cooked gourmet meals.

URLogoRFID (Ole Miss) – UrLogoRFID is a technology solutions company that solves problems within traditional identification and tracking systems with RFID technology to streamline asset management while providing a new platform for advertising, marketing and branding.

Young Adtack (Southern Miss) – Young Adtack is an advertising network that allows businesses and/or individuals to create and run ads that target the youth.
