Access To Capital
MTA manages the Angel Investor Network and the Mississippi Seed Fund, which are designed to help companies get the early funding they need to grow innovation and technology–based enterprises.

Access to Talent
Launched by MTA, the Mississippi Executive Talent Exchange (MXTX) is where emerging technology companies meet experienced executive talent.

Access to Manufacturing Resources
MTA’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership assesses the needs of a potential manufacturing client and assembles resources to assist the company.

Access to Tax Incentives
The Gulf Opportunity Zone (GoZone) Act of 2005 is legislation passed by Congress to provide federal tax incentives for areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma, which allows accelerated depreciation among other incentives.

Access to New Markets Tax Credits, a federal program
The New Markets Tax Credits program is designed to spur investment in underserved and low-income areas. Other state incentives may be identified through economic development agencies

Access to Feedstock Information
Mississippi Institute for Forestry Inventory (MIFI) provides county-by-county forest resource inventory information via the World Wide Web.
